Metro Cat Clinic Inc

When you need a place for your cat to stay while you're on vacation or having your house renovated or overrun with house guests, consider Metro Cat  Clinic.  We offer three kinds of accommodations - cages, condos, and rooms - many of which can handle multiple cats.  If your cat is on a specific kind of food, please bring it with you when your drop him off; otherwise, we feed Hill's Sensitive Stomach dry and give Fancy Feast wet food as treats a couple times a day.  Each day as their cages are cleaned, we let each cat out by himself to explore the boarding room and stretch his legs.  Whenever any staff member passes a boarding cat, she talks to him and pets him if he will allow it.  If your cat is on medication, our techs will make sure he gets it on the proper schedule.

There are two sizes of cages.  The smaller ones are on the top row in the picture on the left, while the larger size is on the bottom two rows.  The cages are lined with newspaper, then a towel is put down.  A litter box is put in the back corner of the cage, and we provide a soft oval bed if you don't bring one.  These cages look out through the window into the clinic pharmacy, which is always busy and should provide the cats with entertainment.

The condos are larger than either of the cages and have three levels.  As you can see, each condo has two shelves.  The litter box is slipped under the bottom shelf, so the cat has two perches from which to observe his surroundings.  Two pairs of condos have a port hole between them (the black circle in the condo on the upper right), so cats in these condos from the same family can visit back and forth.  Or we can shut the port hole if the cats are from different families or prefer not to entertain visitors.  The picture window at the front of the condo room looks into the clinic shop and then out onto the street in front of the clinic.  There is constant traffic in the shop as clients buy food and visit the kittens available for adoption, so there should be no shortage of things for the cats to watch.

The rooms pictured to the left are the 'garden' boarding rooms. To the left of these rooms is a regular boarding room with a glass wall, frosted halfway up for privacy.  All three rooms have doors with glass in the upper half only, so the cats can look out but not feel completely exposed.  The regular boarding room has a cat tree and can easily accommodate three cats.  The garden rooms are smaller, but they have two shelves for perching and lattice roofs to make them light and airy.  From the perches the cats can look out into the shop to watch clients buying food or the adoptable cats playing.
