Dr. Caroline Montgomery

Dr. Caroline Montgomery graduated in 1983 from Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine.  After three years working full time in Birmingham, she started working part time at various small animal clinics in the Birmingham area while taking on the full-time job of raising two sons.  Being active in the local Jefferson County Veterinary Association and knowing many vets in the area led to Dr. Montgomery becoming the first female president of the JCVMA in 1995.  She has worked at Metro Cat clinic since fall 2001 and bought the clinic in 2007  She lives in a household of cats, husband, sons, dog, and a parrot.

                                                                                                                                       Dr. Beth Barnett

Dr. Beth Barnett joined the practice as a relief vet in August 2011.  She is originally from Birmingham, received her undergraduate degree from Mississippi State, and graduated from Auburn's School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004.  Beth is married and has one daughter, two cats, and one dog.  She is a BIG Mississippi State fan and tailgates at home games whenever possible.  Beth works every Wednesday and fills in when Dr. Montgomery is on vacation.
